how much is import duty on a marker

But I work for well known american company and I know lots of loopholes to get things done. I know people who would go to a shop a nd buy a marker for me and bring it here with them, post me spares etc etc. Where theres a will theres a way.

I may have mislead people by suggesting this method, but to re affirm this I WOULD NOT EXPECT ANY REPUTABLE COMPANY TO DO THIS!

But my friends are always willing to help.

Yes, but Simon, the method you describe above is completely different to your initial posting where you describe "Find a freind in the USA who will send it too you as a gift" - having someone send it to you as a gift simply won't work in terms of avoiding customs charges.

I suggested this to hopefully avoid all the "can your mate get one for me" syndrome.

This is my other opinion, IF you are really after something that is special, rare or as 'Bling Bling' as poss. Get a cheap flight and go fetch it.

We all know ways to do it.
