Would that be the fibres on the outside?

Alloy bottles, kevlar fibre wrap.

But i would also suggest using the correct bottle for the Job,
Not worth the risk of screwing a good bottle up.

mooney..you really are a sad....used...tampon...

Fibre wrap bottles arnt made from just fibre wrap, the fibre is wrapped around the bottle so that if it cracks it wont explode. Co2 does NOT cause a solid alloy bottle to contract or expand, you can put co2 in a 1.1 tank (and mooney i know for sure cos ive seen plenty of shockers with a similar setup).

Anyway... Does anyone have anymore info on what weight of Co2 i can shove into the bottle? I'm thinking that it is about a third bigger than a 20oz so:

20/2x10=30

30oz sound about right?

Mark T - the anti siphon is set up correctly (I think) tube goes as high up into the bottle as possible when screwed into the bottom line yeah?

If you find out could you post here to confirm it. I will still fill to about 4lbs as that will be enough to keep my cocker going for a long time.

I have a question for you.

WHY WOULD YOU SPEND THE MONEY ON AN AIR SYSTEM JUST TO FILL IT WITH CO2?

I was under the impretion that we swithed to air to gain consistant velocity and to keep liquid CO2 out of the guns and freezing them up.

I'm rather curiouse as to why you would go back to CO2.

I think what he is saying is that he bought the bottle seperately and is waiting to get an airsystem to put it on. Until then he just has the bottle and might as well use it for CO2 while he waits for the air reg.

Jynx factor - this is actually a popular myth or urban legend... Co2 is in fact the most consistent, reliable and best source of propelant for a paintball marker. It's just that you earthlings have not yet learned to harness your energy to control it!:D

Anyway - back to this alternate reality...

I haven't got an air system... I've got an air bottle. Big difference!

As a result, i'm going to use it for Co2 until i sell it or get an air reg.

If i could afford it i would have an air system (see my sig).
