How many times has this happened to you?

At many tourneys there simply arent enough well placed martials for the fields. I have played on some fields where if you wanted to you could wipe off any hit, and others where you have a martial peering at you for the whole game. Martialing varies greatly, and we really need to try and get a higher quality and qualtity of martials in the sport.

I have been pulled for a number of 141s, lots of them have been moving to a bunker, feeling a hit on me, not sure if its burst, continuing to the bunker, and getting tight. Well many martials would take that as playing on, however as a player if the shot has bounced I dont want to start playing sloppy, or just stop moving all together.

This again goes back to the point that more martials are needed so that people do not have a chance to play on as they are jumped upon as soon as they are hit.

There will always be problems with refereeing any sports, and not all calls will be right, or fair, however if we want our sport to progress we need to invest in more martialing. If it takes an extra £5 from everyone as an entry fee to afford a few more martials, then im sure people would not mind, as I for one don't want my days balling ruined on one call.

u got to think tho, are marshalls there to enforce the rules through interaction or by observation.

surely by checking u down a marshall is interfering with the game play? ooooo controversial!!!!!!

usually the marshal only does it if he is scared of getting shot, thats why it happens to front guys alot cos they are being pounded at the the mashal wont get in there and pull them out, instead he just points/shouts (which the player may not be aware of due to focusing on the game) then does a 1 4 1.
thats my experience of this happening anywayz.
glad i play milleniums tbh all the marshalls are reasonably good there and not afraid to get in a pull players out.

guess so lol, but even then when refs check you with a big shield and 1 ref and a player in a tight bunker you can sometimes get pushed out of the bunker by the ref and shot.

if the refs going to get that up close and personal with you to the level of pushing you out of your bunker shouldnt he call u neutral? :-/ or at least wipe you down if u get hit as a result

see, thats when they should wipe you down... sometimes they just think that saying that happened when they joined you, is an excuse, and take you out anyways...

exactly right

oh well, i think everyone should play milleniums instead, much better refs than the ****e that we have in most uk tourneys.
