Side note on the whole revvy/neck crappness issue. I have been thru 3 revvy shells in the last few months due to then snapping at the neck. I dont play very roughly but they just seem to be failing misserably...sooo brittle.
BUT, this last sunday in training i went in pretty hard (unusual 4 me) into a teabag and heard a crack and my saww my hopper come off. I thought oh no.. not another one. I was using a team mates old style shell with my X-Board in, and unfortunatly (for me) the neck on the hopper hadnt broke, but instead the feed port threading had ripped out.
Fortunatly it has gone straight to planet for a new feed neck and the threads on the body to be re-cut. I await my marker back in the next couple of days in time for Wakefield on sunday. I have been bitching about the revis snapping but in this circumstance i would have rather the hopper had gone than the dammage occur to my marker. Thank heavans for Jack Wood being such a star and helping me out otherwise i could have seriously been up the creek.
