Never been called a trailer park moron by a scottish guy, although I did stay in a trailer in Scotland once - it sucked, the only good thing about it was that I was the best looking woman there!

Wow! Who knew the Scots were such wooseys. You gonna let Missy push you around like that? And seriously, why would anything she says hold any more weight (pun most definitely intended) than your experiments and experience?

Are any of the pball companies to be believed? WDP's poster boy is The Carkus for goodness' sake, the most well-known compulsive cheater in all of Paintball. If they prouldy display him with all their gear doesn't that send a message?

However, the mushy, slushy, 'world-peace'-wanting, do-gooding corporate poster boys do nothing for me either. At least WDP aren't sugar coating a 'politically correct' pin-up like most of corporate american paintball. As an anti-establishment icon I would have thought Loco would have grasped the subtle nuances of that particular choice.

But enough fancy white-boy words.
A lady has the right to defend herself. That boy was calling me mean names, so he had to get cuffed. Plain and simple. If there were more gentlemen around, one of them would have done it for me, but yous just a buncha wimps so I had to bust it out myself. Shame on you Loco!

depends. Am I running directly towards the target or at an angle? Unfortunately my pendulous woman-chest does inhibit me slightly, but if you relax the 10mph rule I reckon I could hit it about 12 times (out of 20).


Here's one for you - If one guy leaves the station at 12pm and travels 36 miles at 76mph, and another guy leaves a different station at a different time, but travels 198mpg, who gets home sooner?

Let me say that again, i don't want to know that you can hit 27bps dry or that you think "maybe" you can do 18-23bps, what can you actually do for a continued volley of shots with paint on target?

Puh-leease! All the corporate types play the anti-establishment, rebel without a clue game. (It's nothing more than a cynical manipulation of small minds and large egos.) WDP just push it further than most. While I do get it I also think, given the target audience, it sends "messages" other than the clever marketing gimmick appeal that is bandied about when decisions are made to promote in this manner. When you appeal to the lowest common denominator gangsta wannabe mentality is it any wonder that's what you end up with in angry, borderline violent displays on the field, lack of respect for pretty much everyone, endemic cheating, etc.
You could perhaps argue chicken and the egg--and do so reasonably--but at a minimum this sort'a thing glorifies and validates the worst impulses in the current crop of tourney players.
To be fair it ain't just Paintball or even predominantly Paintball but if the Coporates wanted to be really subversive they wouldn't cater to their market's prejudices and infantile fantasies.

I love paintball.

Who cares, I shoot people, they walk off the field, they have welts. They shoot me, I walk off the field, I have welts. If they don't walk off the field I shoot them some more... as I would expect in return.

How many players are really actually truthfully affected by the "politics" behind the paintball world? Who really cares? Personally I just shoot people and have fun... are people missing the point of the game? Ah what the hell, money is involved therfore people must be trying to screw each other over.

I have no idea who either of you are but I have a feeling Missy is more well known than it appears by her post count etc. even so its just sooo funny to watch you two go at it like cats and dogs. I'd say that you probably wouldn't back it up outside the forum, but after the posts before this I know you'll say something like "Bring it on" so carry on. Anyway, after you two have gotten past the personal insults, which I'm not placing any blame for upon either of you maybe you could arrange to meet up and we could find out who both of you are and who is the most correct in their bitching... I mean last time I checked Highland Cows couldn't type... but what with all this Genectic engineering you never know... having said that I wasn't aware that Scots were allowed the internet...

This thread is hardly unique--it's been done numerous times before. Not a reason not to do it again but perhaps one reason it hasn't generated much interest. Other than, you know, the entertaining stuff.
