very soon (eh mr collier;) ) i'll have my new marker, and will want to take extra special care of it. so, i was thinking of making a simple stand like i have seen, this will cope with the marker and air, but what about all the other equipment you have.
im talkin about spares, clothes, pads, pods. we all know that there is a lot of equipment involved in this sport, but do you just chuck it in the cupboard till next time you play, or have you got specially made personalised hangers for your kit, and your own room with special lights and air filters for all your markers to be pampered in.
just wondering how every one else copes with the large amounts of kit, as i'll have even more soon.

after a torny

everything is cleaned & oiled, battries binned, and left out, any spare paint kept room temp & turned once a week , I have the marker handy just to give my fingers a warm up a couple of times a week , everything else under the bed. :)

I love my...

Jt gearsack! I just got it from planet, and it rules. I would probably have gotten a kitbag, but I needed something compact that'd hold all my stuff. It just about manages to be a backpack and kitbag in one, I love it.
As far as maintaining my stuff, I've gotten worse/less anal about that stuff. I have a cocker with a hinge trigger, set up how I like it. Because I don't enjoy pain and toil, I don't screw with the setup after play. I just give everything a wipedown, check that the bolt/barrel are spotless, and give it a bit of oil if necessary. Jerseys, trousers, etc get washed approximately once a whatever. The rest of the stuff, unless it's filthy or holding a little sign that says "fix me", I don't **** with.

generally everything washable gets thrown in the wash as soon as i walk thru the door, gun gets a wipe down before it even leaves the site.

everything pritty much gets left in my kit box (i dont have a bag - you cant sit on a bag!) which is parks in the corner of my bed room and doubles as a bedside table!!!!

marker generally gets bunged eather on top of the box or under the bed so i can pick it up and fiddle when i fancy/need too.

day before a tournie everything comes out and gets checked, batterys changed if needed, hopper stripped and cleaned if needed, marker checked over......tool kit and spares kit also checked (i have been known to fix the odd marker or two ;) )

If it is packed to travel, it can stay like that. I have gotten really lazy when it comes to cleaning gear. Therefore, so that I will actually clean my stuff, I do so before leaving the field (most of the time). That way, I can gas it all up after I am done, take a few shots, see that it all works, and pack it like that until the following weekend. I have fixed enough of other people's markers that I have zero urge to tinker with my own.

I do take out my mask at home and clean it and inspect for damage. I am paranoid about head injuries, having witnessed one early in my paintball life.
