Last I heard, there were about 6 people worldwide that could make a decent paintball. I think one of them just retired. The biggest problem is expertise, and most of it is locked into non-compete contracts.

It is fun to see how they are made though! There was an aticle on it in one of the magazines, can't remember which one though.

I spent a good few hours watching "how its made" on discovery at the weekend and after learning how toilet seats and marker pens are made it came on there, its basically the same method they use for codliver oil blisters ect.
Made mainly by pharmaceutical companys i believe?
