Russ We aint falling out

As for the team they have the right to be pissed dont they as they have all paid played and traveled to play every one of the pa monthly events . they all work hard and yes cash is tight you know the score.

also the first thing i knew about prize money was from you .
surely the pa should have sent letters to managers , But there again , how many more teams would have thought about pulling out . so i guess thats why the PA opted not to do that.

Many teams play the Pa because yes there is many fantastic points from the pa s . one of the Pa s selling points was the Prize money . loyal teams deserve loyalty from event organisers.

I just cant believe the way the PA move the goal posts to suit their Needs .
any way . whats done is done , and thats that . I understant you coming on and stating you opinion , im not falling out life is just too short , all the Best To all Jud.

This has got to be an indication of the state of affairs at the pa..

Manchester Extreme are one of the most dedicated teams around in u.k. ball right now, in an industry itself that doesn't have the first clue whats going on or how to repay the loyalty of those who first bought into a non existant pipe dream... The chopping changing of rules and game format has cost u.k. ball severely and a prime example of this is losing a player like Jud... He's been a breath of fresh air in all the circuits he's entertained and will be sorely missed... leaves a sour taste...

If u.k. tourney ball ever wants to get back to a standard worth entertaining, then, I think the organisers need to work together and stop all the egotistical bull**** about who's got the biggest fields and fastest guns.... We got enough of that from the players themselves...

I know first hand that Manchester Extreme were over the moon at the result in the pa and relying on the cash to better themselves in 06.. Jud was a massive influence on what was a very promising team... Hope it all works out well for both parties..

I wish Jud and Manc-x all the very best in the future...

P.s. Russ not very diplomatic telling a worried team to f**koff now is it?? Especially when they had the time to "piss about" paying to play!!!

I bet Tiger wood's would be happy if he just got the green jacket and no prize mony after he came first in that golf tourny thing.

Or maybe Manchester United just got a handshake for winning the FA Cup Instead of the millions of pounds advertising and television right's. (this is about the only fact I know about football heehee )

or Maybe The William's Sister's or Pete Sampras when winning wimbledon just got the trophy and not the lovely prizefund that comes with it also.

or would they of even bothered getting out of bed for anything less..

No team paid us any money after they failed to service their places in the league and has I have already said the cash was not coming from the PA in any case.
The prize money was coming from a third party who was going to put his own money in and whom decided that because of what he saw on the PA forum changed his mind.
That was posted in detail (I will dig the post up and put a link at the bottom later).
I believe the PA offer something that the others you played do not.

I have told Jud in a lot of detail about the PA and if his team do not want to believe what I say, **** em, I dont have the time to piss about with people who don't want to hear what I have said.
I will not fall out with Jud about this or anything else because I respect the man to much, but as for his team.................

Russ

Here you go the link I quoted..

http://forum.thepaintballassociation.biz/showthread.php?t=1725

You will notice that the last post was in December 04 well before the 05 season started.
On page 4 of that link, hatts made a post saying that the prize money would still be paid and that funding it was his problem. So this thread certainly doesnt confirm that there wasnt any prize money to be paid..

Gotta say when I played the PA when it 1st started in div1 with Twisted and in div 2 with Lincoln I never knew anything about any prize money....
Guess it's different though if that's what you thought you were 'playing for'...

I always thought

Well why do you all play ....................

I sometimes think that most players in the UK are only in it, so the can bitch and whine ,as they are beat down by there girls ;)

But why do 99% of sportsmen and woman take part in sport , for the money !!!! bolloxs ,They are all there for another 100 reasons b4 we even get to money .

Dont get me wrong, money helps , but i am not in this sport for the money , anyone that is , is smoking crack . I like many play for the love, the thrill , the compertion and even some new friends
