Hello chaps and chapettes,

i am gonna be buying my first hopper quite soon and i would like one of those revvy ones. I know that there is an 18v one but i swear i have seen a 12v one. Is this correct and what batteries does it take? I may have just read it wrong so if i am wrong please dont laugh at me :(

cheers,

jeevus maximus!

But 2x9 is 18 isnt it?
What is the point of a 12v having 2 9v batteries?
And whats the major difference between the 12v and 18v?

I'm pretty sure you have to fuk with the electronics to make it spin at 18 volts, but if I had a choice I would go with a 12v. Before I had intellifeed on my angel I already went through 2 9v's every game other game day. I imagine a 18v would be much worse (duh).

hope it helps.

The 18 volt version was called the Shredder, well named as it shredded the gears, mine didn't but a lot did, so the Revolution was brought out with a step down transitor to reduce the voltage so 2x9 =12
I have a standard Revolution but recently got the X-Board installed together with the Evil paddles it is so much better, it just doesn't seem to stop like the Revolution did.
