Hopper for Ion

Hi, I have recently got myself an Ion and now im looking for a good hopper. I've used a Evolution II Hopper with a zed(?) board in it but the fit wasnt great and managed to stretch the ring taking it off. The evo2 hopper seemed good but I didnt have anything to compare it to. How much it costs isnt that important(within reason). I was looking at the Halo B rip drive or the new empire reloader B.

Any suggestions?

Get a new feedneck and that will sort the oring stretching problem
any impulse thread feedneck will fit.
an egg should be fast enough but if uv got the cash get the halo wiv rip drive or reloader B

I agree with the above, the stock feedneck sucks, you'll be better off changing the feedneck first.

I run a Z-boarded Egg on my Ion, and it's fed well enough!

What would be the best impulse feedneck to get and is there anywhere on the net i can get one from?

or
Empire reloader b?

Yep, Both Fat Bob's and Planet do an impulse thread twister feedneck...think fatbob's do a locking feedneck too...

Probably more, but I got bored after finding two

I'd say stick with the Egg as opposed to buying a Halo, but that's just personal preference...though the egg is lighter and presents a more "laid back" profile...

yip, stick to an egg, lighter + less f**k on stripping down for cleaning (that little spring on a halo is a b*****d)

you could sand your feedneck down to fit your feed neck, i did that so my egg fitted my angel lcd.

In most cases tractor, that's the way to go....but believe me, the ION stock feedneck blows goats.....
