Is the main problem not the lack of support for new players? i have seen alot of new players go to training and never show up again because its too daunting for them, even people who have played years of recball before usually get anihilated the first time they step onto a supair field.
Problem is that there is barely enough money in paintball to suffice sites setting up training sessions for current players never mind taking the risk to set up extra sessions for new players, i dont think its a case of them being greedy, at the end of the day its a business not a charity.

I don't know about the rest of the country, but i believe the step up in the quality of the south's game, is purely down to two factors.
The stirling work of Dave @ Dartford and Warren @ Ashford !
These two guys at their well respected sites are i believe the ones that are responsible for the encouragment that the sport is recieving in the south.

Diablo - I don't think it's 'purely' down to the sites, they are most certainly instrumental but the teams and players themselves changing their mindset has to be the main determinant here, surely.

We noticed that so thats we why started our newbie days to help players get a taste before they went ahead against the big boys.
Which has worked we are seeing a lot more players come to the normal days form the newbie days plus 4 of them are now on our team.

I think you are right as well pete the teams attitude has changed which is a good thing even the some top level players have booked inot the dynasty clinic so it looks like things are on the up

Thats really good to hear, i wouldnt be suprised if your newbie days account for half of the recruitment of new players in the uk :]

Maybe my choice of wording was incorrect, and it's true that teams are changing and training together and learning from each other, but at the end of the day they need a good stable venue to do this.
Just my 2p's worth Robbo:cool:
