Homeless man blinded in paintball attack

Its not gonna be possible to convince paintball companies, in the US anyway, to stop selling gear in walmart etc because the only company selling in these stores is Brass Eagle. Since they bought viewloader they have essentially cornered the entry level market in the US, and lets face it, anyone who goes to a paintball specific store is not gonna buy Brass Eagle. B Eagles only real costumer base is kids like that who buy a stingray or a blade and shoot up street signs, not serious ballers. Unfortunate that that companies existance gives people to oppurtunity to be vandals, but its not going to be possible to stop the company because of what people are doing with their products.

Can't believe this...

I'm...really speechless. I'm furious at these kids, and hope to hell they're caught and punished. I don't mean any slap on the wrist ****. I want them behind bars, and I want the world to know that this ISN'T what 'ballers are like.
Any chance of getting an official response to the newpapers from the EPA, or...****, anyone ? Because I think the world needs to know, loud and clear, that we're not about this ****.

I think paintball shops should stop selling gas to any one who goes in and asks it to b filled...
there was a story that TOOLE told me about a group of yobs going into planet
and asking for a gun..
the guy at the counter asked the gang what they were gonna do with it... they never got a clear answer....... they shouldnot have sold it to them..
would you sell it to them?

Paintball laws

I beleive there should be a balance between the US laws and the Australian laws.
In my state in Aust you have to do a gun course at a gun range firing a rifle and a shotgun to get a catagory A gun liscence ( photo and all)then apply for a permit to aquire through the police. This permit must be signed by the police or a gun dealer and sent to the firearms dept.
Also in my state the marker must be over 75cm or it's classed as a concealable weapon?????
In other 3 of the other 6 states the whole sport is illegal.
This all came about after a gunman went on a rampage in Port Arthur Tasmania.

We are pushing for paintball to be legalised everywhere in Australia but for the markers to be registered but not classed as firearms. This way we can import top end markers but know who's got them.
At the moment it's illegal to import semi auto markers into Australia.
