HOLD FAST!
That QLoader is a pretty cool design, although very pricey!
What I think would be cool for a loader design is something like the egg, but more like a sphere that sits on the top with a similar type of spiral thing going into the feed neck. It'd look odd but it might work :p

youve gotta do your home work on this one, as the paint can be force fed but must fall x amount of distance into the marker otherwise its classed as a magazine and thats a big no no!
hope this helps!

Heres an idea.......just have something like the slam collar with a feed mech fitted to it.........that way you just slam the pot into the colar and leave it until empty......... 20 degrees slope should so it.
That way no actual hopper and it could be cobbled together from existing bits.

This is a really inspiring thread.

Mind you, while they're at it, why not use an all-terrain, electric wheelchair? Above the battery, you could simply mount a case of paint, with some kind of scoop or vacuum feeder. Who needs a backpack when you've got wheels.:D :D :D

why not make a hopper that does not need a hi/low rise becouse the neck of the hopper is a low rise ..

so you screw the hopper on your gun..
of cource you would have to make a different neck for different types of markers

and the hopper could be a bit longer.. but simulair to the egg..
