@Vibez - Yes mate, semi only.
The reason for this is that every walk-on we have new players turn up. The last thing we want is for them to be put off should they accidentally get lit up by someone on ramping / full auto. Most markers used today are fully capable of firing up to 12 balls per second in a controlled manner (our walk-on day limit, btw) which is more than enough.
We also have a fair percantage of guys with starter guns turning up. The semi only rule, allows these guys to also enjoy themselves and not feel totally out classed.
There's also the other reason of course... These walk-ons are supposed to be fun and
also help develop personal playing skills. "Spray and pray" does not encourage either
Sorry for the long winded explanation, but it's nice to able write this occasionally as it helps alot of people decide to actually start attending these days, knowing their fun and enjoyment is what really matters.
