Nope, I'll tell you.
In Germany's original plans for the May 10th 1940 invasion of Holland, France, Belgium and Luxembourg, Holland was supposed to fall in 5 hours. This turned out to be 5 days, still not a long time, but given the state of the Dutch army before the war, no mean feat for the Dutch.
During the battle for Holland, Germany lost more than 10% of their total air fleet to Dutch actions. Most of these planes lost beyond repair were transport planes and Germany was never able to seriously rebuild its transport fleet after this, more so because of Hitler's insistance on building attack craft.
That's how simple it was.
