Some good advice above, I went from mainly punter days and really enjoyed it and thought this is something I want to do every month, I came on the forums and to be honest did not have any clue on the gear, my first thought was to get something I have used on the punter days a tippman known for there reliability but after listening to a few people they began to make sense on other markers such as electronic ones, the classifieds on this board is your best start, it can be expensive the sport but if you get the right gear pretty early on in my opinion then you are on to a good start as hopefully you wont be relying on upgrades all the time.

My advice, go to a walkon, rent the gear then get chatting to a few regulars and see if they will let you try there gear, this way you will get a better feel for the equipment, I sadly did not have this pleasure but went on some excellent advice and have a very good set up now. I am currently all show though at the moment, just need to develop some skill which I am sure will come with playing and the help of my team I have just started with !

Welcome anyhow :)

Oh and what style of play will you be looking into ? Woodsball or tournament ?

Just another little thing. Make sure the team you are joining either has sponsers or not cause you dont want to buy the wrong kit :)
