Hi Guys,

Andy posted the Pro Tour results up last week. Here they are again with NSPL League Points...

1st - SPOD Factory (800)
2nd - Southampton Quake (750)
3rd - London Tigers Am (700)
4th - Reign of Fire (650)
5th - Raven (600)
6th - DOA Darkside (550)
7th - Basingstoke Tsunami (500)
8th - HPG Factory Team (450)

League tables for both the SW and SE will be updated ASAP.

Props to all the Pro Tour teams - the standard of play was excellent and I really enjoyed knocking heads with you guys on HPG. I was told a seperate presentation was being held at the Pro Tour staging area for you guys. So, I didn't feel the need to put this in to my already lengthy presentation. If I had known that this wasn't the case, your results would definately had been featured.

Congrats and thanks to you all. You did deserve more recognition. And previous suggestions that it was my responsibility to provide trophies and prizes for the Pro Tour are nonsense - this was never requested from me, though there seems to be some confusion there. Now I am back from the clear-up and slowly regaining some sense of normality, I will look in to things and see if anything can be done.

SYD exactly the same as sheirff

Of all the events we could of played/ have played Heavens gate was DEMANDED by my team - there was absolutely no way that we weren't playing - and i hasten to add continue to play.

Thank you for re-posting the scores and placings, i think it just wounded people that they played so hard and put everything they had into the games- and it appeared to be swept under the carpet, was at the HG presentation syd and was clapping as loudly as i could as i thought this years HG and Pro tour was the best/ toughest event i have ever played.

Carry on these awesome events mate- you and scutty worked your arses off sorting this all out.

See you at augusts SE NSPL mate

HG3 Pro-Tour prizes

Just to follow up on what Chris posted, there was a major misunderstanding between the two of us over the issues of prizes/ceremony etc. I apologise if the teams involved feel that we didn't celebrate their efforts enough - we should have as the teams all played excellent paintball over the weekend.
Now for the good news, although we had the mix up over prizes for the DIV 1, those playing the Pro-Tour format, I am happy to announce that the following prizes:

1st Place - SPOD Factory - 15 cases Proto Paintballs
2nd Place - Quake - 10 cases Proto Paintballs
3rd Place - Tigers Am - 8 cases Proto Paintballs
4th Place - Reign of Fire - 6 cases Proto Paintballs

Many thanks to Jeff Abbott at Dye Precision Europe - the sponsor of Pro-Tour - for these prizes.

Team Captains please contact me so we can get you well diserved prizes sent out to you.

I have updated both the SW and SE NSPL League Tables post HG3. Visit http://www.nspl.co.uk and click on Rankings for the full picture of how things stand now we are well past the half-way point in both leagues.

In the South West, things are really interesting with some close competition in Division 1 between HPG Factory Team, Cool As Ice and MH2; who will bag the top spot and qualify for next year's Pro Tour season? In Division 2, Alpha 1 HRF seem to be unstoppable, but remember that the top two teams get promoted and demoted from each division, so it's still an open fight away from the top spot. Division 3 is the closest of all and Exeter APEs have just taken the top spot from Bristol Recoil, who did not attend HG3. And Division 4 is a two-way battle between Bridport Synapse and Southampton FX.

In the South East, Quake are running away with Division 1. California Redz's excellent win at HG3 has extended their lead in Division 2, with Impact UK and Alpha 1 HRF fighting for second. Division 3 is equally as interesting with Bournemouth Riptide and an up-and-coming Basic going head to head. Division 4 is suffering a little from a lack of competing teams with promotion already looking certain for Newbury Anxiety (1st) and Romford UKM2 (2nd).

Exciting stuff. Will the last two legs hold any surprises? Who will be promoted? Who will be demoted? And which two teams will earn that coveted invitation to the Pro Tour for 2006. Only time will tell...
