Nicky's giving you decent advice re the classifeds. Used guns are pretty cheap right now, and although I understand your desire to use your cocker to learn with, there is little more frustraing than finding out you still have more to learn the morning you turn up to play! Cockers are great teachers, but relying on it always shooting while you figure things out can lead to some lost days of play.

Yeah that was me dude, I remember 3 of us trying to share a bunker the size of a x-ball coke can on that game 
I had the same idea as you when I had my first cocker, but after having it a while I realised it was going to cost too much to just have the eyes drilled and an electro frame bought.
Looking at like 150 for just those alone, and theres dm4's, speed 05's and e2 cockers going for about 350 quid on the classifieds.
Might be worth having a think about, but don't spend your time worrying about your gat, spend it on balls and practice.
