The way I see it, with the the way the game is going (i.e. allowing gun cheats, Full auto eventually) the pace of the game will slow down and guys who can stand and throw ropes will dominate the game again. Who better to step into this role than the lardos who used to do it? Look at baseball, there are plenty of pro athletes who you would pay never to see in a speedo. As long as there are roles within the game that involve standing still, there will be big guys who can compete with anyone. Pass me that plate of wings and a Guinness I'm gonna get in shape to join the Big Boys Club!
I'm encouraging our back line to eat more...... they can carry far more paint when they are "big boned" try and get a seven plus four battlepack around a nine stone front man. 
Being lighter and fitter is an obvious advantage.... faster to your bunker and less of a target..... pretty clear really. Particularly with the PA....... quite often that has no large back line bunkers for the bigger player.
