A new Twisted recruit, and a good friend of mine is working in America for Astra Zeneca - they tried to get a flight back for him, but to no avail.

My mate has just come back from Bermuda and was there when Hurricane Fabian hit. He said it was weird (us Brits are not used to things like that!) and hopefully Isabella will not cause much damage.

im leaven to go up to roanoke tomorow, its supposed to be less drastic up their its like 4 hours away so hopefully we wont get stuck in traffic

Joe Bob-Were u old enough to remember Gloria back in the 80's??Pretty cool..Lots of wind,tree fallings,downed electrical lines,and plenty of rain..I'm a little older now so maybe this time around it won't be so fun..Anyway,be safe..I won't get hit till Friday..
I heard this thing had 300 km an hour winds near the centre and they found that out by flying that cyclone chaser plane right into it. It's apparently a new record for flying a plane into high winds.
