OK, how many teams have won a Millennium event in the last 3 years?
One win does not a SuperTeam make unless you have so severely devalued "super" as to be nearly meaningless. It's hyperbole of the worst order, not unlike calling every unproven highly touted draft pick a superstar before they've ever competed.Originally posted by TJ Lambini
I thought that might make you grin, BUT in conjunction with other factors it stands up. Plenty of teams tried and failed to stop Dynasty in Euroland - all totally failed apart from Arsenal.
Now when you throw that in the mix with tha bigger factors - Top 5 NPPL in their first ever season, currently 5th in NPPL - it becomes significant. Whichever way you look at it, over tha past 18 months Arsenal have been amongst the top 12 teams in the world, which in my book qualifies them as a SuperTeam.
So you don't think the world's top 12 teams can legitimately be classed as super?Originally posted by Baca Loco
