It's not the bleedin queen. But the anti-shooting lobby want airguns (at least) registered and with an age restriction and this could have a knock on effect on paintball, just as banning deacs and the airsoft brigades guns will have an effect on paintball. 'They couldn't do it?' 'It's too popular' - mate, they banned shooting and we are olympic champions and shooters outnumbered paintballers by 10,000+ to 1. They will not give a **** about airguns and paintball and hunting and... get the picture.

I would suggest you cast your mind back to the recent Jubilee celebrations and then see if you can say its only people of 80-90+ who support her

As for the original topic, the queen is the head of state and makes announcements on behalf of government.
The government is looking at airguns because of the spate of injuries being caused by complete morons who shouldn't be let loose with a cap gun.
Paintball is classed as a special case by the home office and is not included in the airgun catogory.
I'm in favour of registering air rifles as no doubt are all the kids, adults, dogs, cats, birds... who have been shot by them
