calm, breathe! There is always a little upkeep to be done with any gun, brand new or not. Little bits like this are normally self fixable if you can diagnose it. It shouldnt be sold like that, no, but its probably just a matter of seating it right with a minutes work. Subscribe to empires videos on youtube, and learn how to disassemble and reassembly the axe properly. You'll be better for it!

I agree with the others... probably the air transfer tube. Seen the same thing happen on a Mini - just take the grips off and check if the tube is in tight. It screws down. From memory, don't OVER tighten it - just make sure it is snug. Should sort it out.
