I can imagine their pretty fragile, they must be really thin and extremely acurately made - I guess the slightest dent it one could render it pretty useless? But totally awesome if looked after and matched correctly to your paint!!

I bought a JT barrel, and i have to say im very impressed, its like having a complete set of boomsticks, i bought one recently and it shoots as straight as an arrow. At the moment i only have 1 bore size but ill buy more when i can afford it!

This will get me flamed but having tried both barrels the JT absolutely Hammers the freak in terms of tight ball grouping, but gives the same advantage of different bore sizes.

I purchased a Deluxe Freak set, I have different backs for each of my guns and it works out at great value.

However, if you shoot the same paint, week in week out you soon discover you are only likely to use 1 or maybe 2 of those lovely shiny inserts.

You know what paint you prefer and regularly buy, start out with one or two inserts and buy more if you need them when you can afford them.

I love my freak, (but thats a different matter!)

:D

it works out about the same as a freak, slightly more.

But I have yet to find somewhere which seels the JT as a "set" like the deluxe freak. our guys have bought the backs separately.

However, in What paintball hear it says the JT is available in a complete set and a case. If you find it please LMK !!!

I've shot Blaze the last 3 times I've been out & ended up using a different insert each time!

Little thing to remember if you're slowly getting your Freak & inserts together is that you can buy the nice case separately, not just as part of the deluxe set. Well worth considering to protect the delicate little inserts.
