How do i know if my evil air tank is hp or lp ? the guy who i had it off didnt know for some reason

tanks are neither hp or lp
this refers to the output of the bottle reg
if it doesnt say which on the reg, a pic may help us to help you

The pmi tanks I have the lp regs are blue and the hp are red if it helps

Newer PMI regs (Reactor 2) are all blue - both HP or LP output

Fit a 0-1200 psi gauge in the spare port of your ASA - assuming it has one blanked off with grub screw

Then you can see what tank output pressure is

CP bottle Regs are usually High Pressure, I`ve never seen a low CP Reg, I have 3 x since 2005 and all are high. there`s only a few guns out there that use low pressure , nearly all are high.

A lot of manufacturers have kits available on the market to change the output pressure of there regs. Unless you know the full history of that reg, it will be hard to determine the exact pressure whether HP/MP/LP unless you have a gauge to test.
