It's a lousy job but somebody has to straighten you out. ;) As to the rest, that's just TV, Scutty. You have a problem separating fantasy from reality, don't you? :p

Ha! That's the best I've read on these boards in a long time! My French wife just loves it when I do that! She thinks it's just another way to show how much I appreciate it.;)

I agree with you, my amphibian friend, the English do eat weird breakfasts. I personally prefer steak and eggs with Southern biscuits (not cookies, mind you) and a big helping of grits.

And French food rules. I'll be in Paris during the Christmas holidays and I will definitely add several kilos to my weight. I can't resist Pizza Hut (for some reason much better than in Stockholm), Dominoes, KFC, Ben & Jerry's, Häägen-Daz and all the wonderful delivery and take-away Chinese, Japanese and Thai.

By the way, there is a good name for what you were talking about in Swedish. It is called to släppa väder, let out weather. Very gentle and appropriate.:D

Steve

PS. I really like seeing you French people on this forum. I know the language is a challenge but keep it up! Bon courage!, prout prout!

HaHaHaHaHa...

... well first of all Zargou well done for your command of the English language, you should hear the people at my college, you are considerably better! My French sucks!!!

I just love to see the good old Americans turning up, trying to straighten things out and making it worse then claiming they are the ones who sorted it out!
WW1 only a few years late... we were doing kinda ok anyway
WW2 took some Japanese guys to wake you all up... the germans didn't seem to be able to swim, so us Brits were fine
WW3 Dubua is doing a good job of getting to that one first, he might be fighting himself but he will be there!

Now french food, not too sure about that, some of its great, some of its different. The beverages served with said food however are superb!

So, is there some french people that can explain him that we are the best? Were better than british, that's why their girls prefer frenchies.
We don't need to explain, we are the best, everybody knows that, no? :)

Merci. It is also true that I will really get fat on profiteroles, èclair au chocolat, religieuse au chocolat and all the wonderful dark chocolate like Vahlrona and Poulain, especially noir et noisettes à la truffe et aux èclats de cacao.

I also look forward to couscous and maybe a baguette at Pomme de Pan. Haute cuisine is not really my style. I like to know what (or who) I'm eating.:D

And it is truly amazing how much the French have contributed to the world of paintball.
