id say that the oregon one is what you want, built in mem, and 640 480 30 fps, fine for editing and a good standard and quality.

been looking at these for a bit, but dont have the £100 or so

yeh we went with the 2000 one, for like £100 and comes with a 2gb card, we looking at the uni for funding

Now , this is going to sound stupid, But I have looked into this for Paintball TV Online and I must say I found a Tony Hawk skateboarding camera that is perfect for filming paintball.. its just the camera , records onto a built in memory and just plugs stright into PC when you get home
