My eldest son went to a friends party at paint balling day and loved it and friends I know say they have been and it is great so I am joining a local club and go from there

I am really new so don't understand all the different games. I am joining a local club so should be able to tell you a bit more soon.
I have purchased a TiPX pistol and valour goggles and empire gloves for now. But the club gives me access to equipment.
However I am open to advice on what markers and other equipment to get me and my sons to start with.

Fantastic, that's the usual route most people take! Like you said, it's good to join your local field and get talking to people. The paintball community is a wonderful one and people are always willing to give advice or let you try out equipment and whatnot. Get out there and get playing.
