Haha, see grown ups (ish) do get to play on the bouncy castle! :D

Forgive my ignorance, but where is the temple?

Is this something I should clearly know, if so, ah well, gotta learn somewhere....

Good luck on Sun.

Two and a half?

Man, I might as well travel there from Manchester!

What size are the teams that are playing and do you play in any particular role? (or is that dependant on whether you are in human or wookie form?)

:D

Hi ChairChimp, & welcome.
Temple is near Gatwick airport in Surrey, not far from the M25. They have 3 sup'air fields set up permanently & run at least one & often 2 tourneys per month. This weekend they are doing both 5 & 7 man, the most common team numbers in the UK.
If you want to get a good idea of what tourney play is all about without travelling about 250 miles, have a look at the Midlands Masters (sorry, don't have the web addy) or Series 2002/2003 (http://www.tournamentpaintball.co.uk/). They both run events most months where you play for both tourney and series points, & if you turn up just to watch you'll get to meet loads of friendly & insane people, get to watch some good 'ball, & get a feel for tournaments. All levels catered for at both series & just about everyone who plays will be happy to give you advice, often whether you want it or not!;) :D

Thankyou to all of you who welcomed me to the forum, its nice to be greeted.
Just a couple of questions to any players who play in leagues.....How do you and where do you register to play in a league? We hope to play in a league in 2003, is it too late for us to join?
Regards, Hughsey

Just contact Steve Bull (via the link in my post above) & he will explain all about how the 2002/2003 series work. Season starts in January at Elsham (between S****horpe & Hull) & there's one event per month up to October followed by a serious party in November for the series presentations. Lots of teams can't make every round but we all have loads of fun & there are placings for each event as well as the series overall.
