Hmmm
im not very technical but something like a small room heater would probably work in a confined space.

In winter times when my band rehearses its pretty isolated and we've used a small electric fan heater in the past soon gets a room cooking.

Obviously the problem of electricity, however you can get portable small gerenators with plug sockets on - my brother has one that he takes fishing to plug a DVD player into. dunno how long itd run a small heater.

Id guess both of these items could be picked up relatively cheap will have a scout around if you want.

would mean you office got pretty warm mark ;) and you might have to keep the door shut. that or get another smaller 'office' for the paint.

Ojn a completely alternative and more expensive idea, Flametec bags. They are awesome. But would mean having a car down the hill (might not be able to get back up again in this weather)

Apoolgies if this is already known/me talking rubbish :D

I think the jet heater would kick out too much heat, and would cost a packet to run.

What you need is a box which you can fit all the paint in you want to store. Make it out of polystirene sandwiched between plywood so it is strong and a good insulator.

In the bottom of the box you would need a heater and a good conductor on the floor of the box to spread the heat evenly (copper sheet would be ideal).

Just hook the heater up to a thermostat and power off a car battery, should last a day easily.

Its a nice Idea but depending on how many people turned up it would add another £20 - £50 per head in fuel etc....

Keeping the paint warm is much more important than the players, they can just wrap up warm.

And in contrast to a jet heater a proper thermostat controlled heat box for the paint wouldnt cost much at all.

Thank's guys for all your input.

We have a cabin on the site, thinking that was the best to keep thing's warm in for the paint.

Dont know about the players though trying to keep them warm that is the problem we use marquees at the moment for shelter so the patio heaters might work.

John c do you fancy making one of those boxes for us ?
