Yes, despite what you may have heard or read in the past, Oakland Assassins is still Bobs team. This merger is only for X-Ball , for the 2006 NPPL season, there will be the Oakland Empire, Bob Long's Assassins and Infamous competing in the Pro Div.

Quoted from Pbnation. For anyone who doesn't know, Terry59 is one of the main techs for BLAST and I think played for the Assassins before. He's definetly well informed on the merger.

hey, uh, God? would you mind answering this question of mine from page one of this thread. I would very much appreciate it your holiness.

I need to know that for all the help and support I and PGi have given the NPPL in the past 3 years is a two way street...........and not a one way street into Chuck's pocket.

If I told you some of the rhetoric, you just wouldn't believe me......

Paintball makes me sick to the bone sometimes and this is one such occasion !

the tin? please clarify
Its a tagline from a british advert, for a range of DIY products from a brand called Ronseal.

"Ronseal quick drying wood stain. It does exactly what it says on the tin."

It was originally meant to emphasis the simplicity of use and reliability of their products. But has been used as a pop-culture saying, equivalent to the old saying 'by-name-by-nature'.

Robbo - you said elsewhere that you wouldn't be playing both leagues. Does this mean that you definately won't be playing the NXL? You've also mentioned not wanting to train for two formats, does this mean you won't be playing the CPL?

- Cheers

Steve, I ended up turning down the NXL offer for various reasons (most of which was timing) but luckily for me the door hasn't been permanently closed on that one.

I detest playing two formats because it runs contra to the interests of both squads (M7 and NPPL) but I have no real option when it comes to playing this year.
It's a real cluster fcuk for me and Magued to deal with but I suppose I should count myself a$$hole lucky in being able to play both formats so I should find some solace in that I suppose.
