Once again Steve Bull has managed to eclipse even some of previous excellent tourney with a mini Campaign at S****horpe yesterday.

The tourney was held in an Athletics Stadium which had excellent changing faciliities and viewing facilities too.

3 Sup'Air fields were used and although the turn out of teams (about 30 I think) was a little disapointing, I think this was purely down to Campaign being held in 2 weeks time.

Anyway the Stadium was terrific, lovely weather, and to top it all we got 2nd place overall, only losing to those 'jammy arabs' from Banzai in the finals, I'm sure those new E Blades they were testing are not Tourney legal ;)

Not a bad performance from oursleves seeing as though we had one player who was playing in his 1st tourney and another in about his 4th.

Thanks to everyone in Division C for some great games amd also the guys from Airforce 1 who once again supported a fantastic tourney with quality air fills!

Surely STB next year warrants a venue like this? What are the chances Steve?

Hope to see you all at the last leg of the S2002 series 'up North' (thank god, I'll get a decent lie in for a change!)

paul,

during the days events we had a few little visitors that where to say the least up to no good....

they were in our bags and nicked a box of paint and some other stuff they almost had a digital camera worth £700 but thanks to the kids who spotted them and nottified us we just managed to run after them and get it all back...

cheeky twats came back latter on and where sniffing around again... twats they really pissed me off
so a big up to the kids
guys you really do have to watch everything now and watch out for each others equipment

thedays events where excellent as always i hope some of the new RDX player got a feel of it even thow we did not play well attall it was nice to give them a chance...

thanks

Remember Paul, there was plenty of other stuff that went missing including my Impulse bolt:( , those goggles from one of the Banzai guys & at least 1 mobile phone that I'm aware of.

However, stuff going missing was just about the only bad point of the day (well, that & the way we played). Fantastic venue, real toilets :) , good fields. Nice one, do hope they have us back next year.
