Hard decision Ion or Wrath?

Yes.. it is..

However, stripping it isnt quite as easy as youd expect...

Dont get me wrong.. i like my Ion.. But ive had nothing but problems with it, and it can be a real swine to strip, and on the field, its practically impossible..

also, a few aftermarket parts are worth getting for the ion (trigger being a major one..)

Problem is most "pro shops" will only distribute a select range of markers, and in order for them to make a profit they are going to push for you to buy whatever they have in stock.

yes scars that is true.
but its always a possibility.
best thing to do is to try them all out or whichever u can get ur hands on, get opinions off the board like you are doing now and take evything sed with a teaspoon of salt!
uve gotta shoot what u buy at the end of the day, if it makes u smile, its prob for u!

As speedbird_666 said save abit more and get the Promaster 05 this gat rocks. I have shot both the icon and warth and both guns are ok but for £50 more you can get a gat which will eat the icon and wrath for breakfast.

yes m8 and your icon has never gone tits up and if you want to speak about customer service how many weeks was it before nick got his icon back.

graf there are good points and bad points with any gat out there, and we all know how much you love your icon and that it has its own little bed by yours and each night you give it a kiss good night. but when it comes to the icon vs Promaster 05 the Promaster 05 will win hands down.

I know that it may be hard for you to see this but there are better guns out there then the ICON.

What about having to spend 10 minutes with a set of allen keys to completely disassemble a gun just to get to the bolt?

Or not even having an LPR in the first place?

Ions have their place (cheap, not bad performance), but if you want quality, I would save the extra cash and go for the Promaster.

Simple really.....
