If I have pi$$ed anybody off this past year then .....hard luck, you probably deserved it anyway.
If I made an inappropriate cranial contact with anybody this past year then......hard luck, you definitely deserved it.
If I insulted anybody this past year then.....well you guys get the gist of this I am sure
Paintball is a fantastic sport and we have a really supportive and friendly fraternity.
I am not saying it's unique but it's evident when you go to tourneys and take a look at these pages.
I know we all have our moments but for the most part, our fraternity is a great one and it's fun to be a part of it, in fact I have been part of it for coming up 20 years and I have a very low boredom threshold so i think a 20 year love affair with paintball says it all really.
For 2007 I would love to see our tourney fraternity take stock of what they truly want, I also hope they can respond to what some people are saying and pick up the gauntlet by taking our sport by the scruff of the neck and get us back up there.
Not that long ago, us Brits, used to be the Guv'nors in Europe, we used to be respected by the Yanks and feared by everybody else, I want those days back.
We can't just rely on Shock and Kellys to fly our flag, we need more, a lot more.
I know we have the players, I have seen them, many of them, it's just they are spread across teams who do not share the same ambition or talent, we need to recognize and organize these individuals.
It's up to us guys, it's up to us.
