Just seeking further opinions!

Throughout paintball the only hoppers I've used are Revvy's and Egg's! Now...I'm in need of something a lot faster for my speed! Seeking opinions on how good the halo really is....easy to clean? easy to fix? many problems? that sort of thing! I like the capacity so you shouldn't worry as I'm a front player! Thanks in advance, I expect a lot of halo users to reply...

reloader B... same as the halo except its sound activated. if the halo decides to blend paint for what ever reason it will interfear with the eyes. where as the reloader B will continue feeding as long as your shooting your gun.

as for the ability to clean, it can be a bitch, but the solution to that is hybrid shells

i use a reloader B and its ace.

Reloader b fur me ...

A good hopper, whilst can be a pain to clean its fairly straight forward to strip, lots of parts available, good paint capacity and has been mentioned above will work through a break as its sound not eye activated also its a little gentler on paint than the Halo B.

Personal preference really.

Hope this helps.

I've seen enough reloader B's go down - plus you've to turn them on in the quiet (a design flaw I've still not come to turn with  ). Get a Halo with rip and you won't have issues, unless the eyes go. It seems that the eyes are the achilles heel of Halos. Shame really, because they're great when they work but they burn out.

Reloader B's work nice with a louder gun, so you should be fine with your Speed (again, as long as you turn it on in a recording studio). I say get a VLocity, even though I've never tried one. I just want an honest opinion on one :)

Thanks for the help lads! The other concern is cost, I find the Reloader a bit pricy and the VLocity a bit ugly....sex appeal is another factor! Would probably pay upto about £60/£70! This includes 2nd hand.

You should be able to get a Halo for £60. I have two and (touch wood) they both seem to work ok although can drain batteries pretty quick. Both have rip drive though after a rather nasty experience involving a 3 on one and flat batteries. Rip drive proved it's weight in strontium 2 that day.

The number of people i see with broken eggs really makes me wonder why people buy them.

Halo (make sure it's got RIP) gets my vote but then i haven't used a Reloader B so can't comment.
