Howdy,

Just thought I'd ask here to see if anyone else has had a similar problem.

On my Halo B I regularly get a jam caused by the "anti-jam" spring. Basically the first ball get's stuck up against it with the next ball trying to kinda force it's way underneath (i.e. the first ball is being held up off the base of the catch cup)

I've taken it apart, moved the spring around and even tried lightly bending the spring, but problem still persists.

Any ideas? Has anyone run a HaloB successfully without that spring?

Oh, and I've tried different paints too, although saying that they have all be RPS, but surely that can't be it can it?

easy

M8 easyest way to get round this, is switch the Halo off and then back on. when you switch it back one again and start firing the problem seem to clear it's selves

Thanks, tried that already but it doesn't work.

Because the cup can't spin more the spring get's "loaded" so even turning it off doesn't help as the spring isn't unwound, it just sits there keeping pressure on the 2 jammed balls.

The only way to clear it is to shake the hopper so violently another ball knocks the one against the spring down and underneath the spring. Doesn't work everytime and you look like a pratt :)

The Z-Boards have a new back-plate. Instead of the usual plain black one, its now blueish and has the halo logo on it.

Turn it on, with no paint in it does it;
pulse? T1
Spin continuously? TE

If your HALO circuit board has a sticker on the back that has a number followed by the letter Z (example: 803Z) then you have the newest Z code.
