Well AJermstad, I guess sarcasm dosn't come across the boards very well. (or maby it does?)

And Styles mugger. WHY WOULD YOU SCOFF AT PAYING $125 FOR A HOPPER that would alow your gun to actually operate at its max rate and reduce the chance for a choped ball.

How much did your eclips cocker run you, and your ti boommer and the rest of your equipment. A better question is why did you get that equipment. My guess is you wanted the best (not that I think the ti boomer is the best) equipment you could get. If price was your main consern you would be shoting a talon.

Coz i wanted sum fing that will shoots accurately thats why ive got the cocker &dye barrel(got that the dye cheaper than normal sellin price).I can fire that fast enuff.im not the spray & pray type,i like to make the shots count & im a front player normally.
As for the i get the best type attitude i pay for stuff that will be best for me,if its for shooting, cleanning, ease of use then i'll pay wot i can afford i wont pay over the odds 4 sum thing that wont give me wot i payed 4 it back.
The Halo is just not 4 me,not until its had a little refinement anyway!
HOPE THAT HAS ANSWERED UR QUESTION.Thats the way i see it.:)

My Brief reveiw of Ricochet's

Right, to set the record straight - I got my Rico at Mayhem last year. And while Thunder are now sponsored by them, I felt the same before we were.

Pros,

Reliable as hell - NEVER has my Rico stopped working, We all used our Rico's at Sparklie's last academy when it tipped it down and no probs at all.
It has a game timer you can never loose
It has never broken a ball in the hopper, even if you get a paint in it (from broken ball on a pot etc) it will still work
It uses sooo many less batteries. One 9v usually lasts me 2 tourney's, I used to change 2 9v's at every tourney with a Rev. (you do the maths)
It seems to feed more consistantly than a Rev. This is because it agitates on with every shot - not jsut when it "senses" a gap as it works on a reed switch
The new 2002 motors are quieter than a Rev
It's lighter than a Rev

Con's

Hmmm - the lid takes a bit of getting used to but that's about it.
The feed neck is deliberatly oversized to begin which is a bonus as you never need tape for the "old" size vert feeds but a minus in that you have to sand it down if you have a "new" size neck.

I now have 3 Rico's so if you are ever at a tourney come and find me and I will gladly let you borrow one. I have NEVER had anyone who has actually used it fail to be impressed.

If anyone is interested in a team deal on Rico's drop us a line and I will see what I can do :D

I'm well impressed with my rico so far. It's really solid, you feel like you could throw it at the ref and it wouldn't break:)

Dunno about it being quieter than my 12v, although it is quieter than the older one you showed me:) Scientifically speaking (oh big word) it MUST be faster than Viewloader, because it doesn't wait to sense a jam, it just keeps pumping them in;)

Rico gets two thumbs fresh from me, don't waste £100 at Smart Parts, buy Rico

Ricochets

I was a little bit apprehensive when we decided to get the Ricos but I have to say I have been VERY impressed with them. The not only feed fast but they feed consistently which is good when laying down constant paint :) The game timer is really useful and I like to have my hopper beeping at me to tell me to finish the game :) Where I've had my Revvy go mad on me in the rain before the Rico stood up to a days play when it pi$$ed down all day without even any problems with the LCD display.

I found that the lid took all of like 2 games to get used to.... the fact that it is verticle instead of slanted actually means you spill less paint (especially as a front player in a low bunker where you can't tilt your marker forward.

As Beaker and Simon said they are a really well made reliable bit of kit. Hell even their baseball caps are more comfy that most I've worn :D
