Halo eats my batteries, Problem Solved!

Hi guys,

I have a slight problem with my halo b with ripdrive hopper.
My halo can go through 3 pairs of duracelll 9 volt batteries in bout 6 hours.
I put in a fresh pair, then a few hours later it will say batteries dead and my halo will stop working. Also my halo doesnt turn on properly, i have to hold down the button then quickly tap it for it to come on, it wont just turn on normally :(. I try to save as much battery as i can by turning off the hopper when its not in use, but still it doesnt help.
I bought it a while ago brand new from a paintball shop and it worked for the first month or so, thne just went down hill then on. I have cleaned it once and everything seemed it place and fully fuctional. I did however find one wire snapped in half, i soldered it back together and it was fine for about a week. But im certain this isnt the soruce of the problem!
Any suggestions?

Thanks
A.T:D

EDIT: It was my egos fault, i turned on the halo without it being attached to a gun and in about 9-12 seconds it emptied the hopper, i was so suprised, i then put it on the ego and boom the halo starting flahsing red and green. So i then i thought it must be the feedback clamping it so tight, then gun never had any gas in it so it wasnt the guns fault it was the feednecks fault!!!!!!

So glad thats over with!

I had a similar problem with dark shelled paint? The eyes do not see the dark colour and the loader just keeps trying to force the stack of balls. The end result isw that you get the low battery warning due to the strain that is being put on the motor.

It could also be that there is a problem with the board. Try subbing a board off a friend for a while and see if that makes any difference

Lovetone: That would be nice but im skint at the moment, so i need a bypass for this thing until i get enough cash^^

Darkstranger: Hmm you may be right, i have been using darkshelled paint for a while but then again i recall it not working on orange paint and blue. It may just be the board, so ill try another board cheers.
