It's only if you are leaving batteries in there from one tourney to the next, which might be a few weeks.

I've had one instance when I did leave good batteries in there for around 3-4 weeks and they were pretty much flat.

I do it with all hoppers, more "best practice" than absolue necessity. Also with the HALO it's real easy as the cable can just be disconnected but you leave the batteries in it. Unlike a rev where you end up with batteries floating round your kit bag.

p.nut, you've only had no sarcastic replys 'cos i havent been on here for a couple of days.

what are the ball detents on your viking like. you better hope their better than an angel or all your going to be doing is shooting spunk out of your barrel, regardless of what paint your using (although of cource draxxus is without doubt the finest paint you can possibly buy from anywhere period!!!).

hope you have more luck with your halo than i did.

your battery life will depend on if you use the six AA pack or a standard 9v. the six pack should get you through a full millenium three day tournament, but with the 9v you will just about get through a days play! but again that depends on the type of battery you use. try durracel m3.

i bet you are starring in wonder that i have actually written something half useful and am now going to lie down 'cos my fingers hurt:D

see you in manchester next week:cool:

The ball detent in the Viking is a good ole wire nubbin and works an absolute treat with the Halo B. . . . i've never chopped a ball in about 30000 balls through my Viking with a Halo B! :D
