Halo B

Just got myself a Halo B hopper !! and was wondering how long the batteries should last from new ? and are they easy to clean if a ball breaks inside ? Is there any maintenance tips anyone can give me ?

K the halo b is a bitch if you break a ball in it, but I doubt you will with the viking as long as you feed it quality paint! no maintenance as such, batteries should last in excess of 2 7 man tournies. the red light will start lighting if the battery does get low. There's full strip down instructions on odyysee's website!

As for stripping them down, well they are a bit of a pain at first, but once you've done it a couple of times, it's pretty easy.

The only problem is, you have to strip them right down in order to clean them properly, so if you get paint in the eyes, it's a bit of a nightmare.....

steve_e said it should hopefully be here this week ? but i did read on pbnation that there was a shortage of boards at AKA ? i hope this does'nt affect me

I've only broken paint twice in the HALO, first was I slammed the lid down when too full and broke a ball (which is relatively easy to do with a HALO as the lid is so stiff). Second was broken paint in a pot which turned it into a blender.

It's not that bad to strip, I think the EVOII is more hassle having done both.

As for batteries, I work on the change 'em anyway rule. So I just use the cheap unbranded ones and throw them away, if they don't last as long what does it matter, it's always more than a tourney.

Also, best disconnect the battery cable if you are leaving batteries in it.
