playin with cannock cobras yesterday i experienced some difficulties with my loader. i found that in some games *not all* the balls would stop feeding and the light on the back of the loader would be flashing red then green then red so on and so forth until i turned the loader off and back on. i started using old draxxus paint from Aug UK Masters then switched to Zap Spank which is a pink shell. im wondering if anyone knows what the problem is? would it be paint or an eye problem.

many thnx

i think that indicates a jam - are your anti jam beads and spring in the hopper?

try changing the batteries? - and also when you experienced the problem was it just after reloading and closing the lid? if you overfill it jams - or did with me last time i used a halo.

I was using spank at the weekend for training and my halo was working fine with it, so i wouldnt have thought that the paint could have been the issue.

Are the eyes clean? and in the correct position? I taped mine into position just to be safe.

When it starts to flash red then green it does indicate a jam but this problem could also be down to low batteries.

Try changing them with a fresh pack of batteries and see how you get on.

as BreakwayBP said, ensure that you don't overfill the hopper either as this can lead to jams.

heya guyz . cheers for the replys. the anti jam beads and spring are in place. couple of times it was after i reloaded but most of the time it was mid loader :X ive played 2 masters events with it and it worked flawlessly. the batteries are quite old so i will change them and see what happens. how often do you advise i change batteries? i use duracell procell

the overfilling might also have accounted towards the problem. cheers for all the help and next time im training (possibly at bassetts pole) i will make sure i sort as many variables as possible.

Battery life

I always put in a fresh set for every tourny, just to be safe.

I use the ones from last tourny for training aswell as if they die on me i can change them without causing my team to go a man down.

It's really up to you how often you change them but always make sure you disconnect your battery pack when you are not using your hopper (i.e after tourny/training) so that the batteries dont drain or leak inside. (also applies to your marker)

get a rip drive kit as well - life savers if your batteries fail. having said that though, i have had these batteries in my reloader for a few months now and they are still going strong - having said that now they will fail on me next training:rolleyes:

mines been doing this of late. I've whacked in an overdrive kit, which is coming back out in the next few days because I've had nothing but problems since it went in. If you've got one of these, take it out, will probably be causing the problems.

Changing the batteries should help a bit, if you've got a victory board increase the setting, whack it a couple of notches up and see if that helps. Problem is probably the batteries, however could be the paint - was throwing zap and proto through my halo on sunday, then whacked in a load of month old white box (not overly swelled tho) and the halo decided it wasnt going to play ball so to speak, and started jamming on me. Ended up 3 on 1, me being the 1 with a fooked hopper trying to rip-drive it... didnt last long...
