Halo B problem, any ideas? Skeet, John C, others?

Thansk to Joe, found out that its most likely to be the battery holders. I tried both boards with a brand new 9volt and the board light flashes red and green. That means that the battery is low right? Should it register as low battery with a brand new 9volt?

Fourtunately the battery packs are only about 55p each. So it wont be costly :)

Any other ideas?
With a normal 9V it will go into the jam sequence much easier, but it shouldnt show a jam right away with a fresh one.

Possible causes of instant jam are:
Drivecone/motor stuck.
Pinched wires (oh noes)
Damaged Board

Try it with the other board.
Then try it with the same board but with the other set of internals.

Ok, tried it with the 9V, one board with the other halos eyes. It worked. It didnt work with the 6AA battery pack. So I guess I have a faulty battery pack right? Ordered 2 more for 55p each! Bargain.

But now the other one doesnt work at all. SO I guess the eyes are faulty, and the battery pack is as well?

Cheers
