Ok, I have a Halo B, with 2 Z Board's

I had a problem with one of the Halos, so tried the other board in it. It would not turn on. Then I used the other wires and internals and still the loader would not turn on. I have tried new batteries, and still no luck.

Of the 2 different Z boards, I know that at least one of them works.

Any ideas?

Is there anyone in the UK I can send the loader to that would be able to fix it?

Cheers

Few things that i could think of;

First an simplist you need to press the button once and not hold, if you hold, nothing will happen.

Second, and most likely, you may have a problem with your battery harness, if you are using the 6 or 4x AA battery pack then one of the connections may have come off.

Yes, all I can think of is that its either the wire connections, or the board.

Am getting a new board tomorrow,and new wires ill follow if the problem persists

Yeah...does look like you have tried most things....there isnt really that much that can go wrong...I know I had problems with a battery pack...try getting th components, out of teh shell, and testing them like taht, so it easier to fiddle around and change things....also, make sure you arent pulling on the wiring looms when they go back in teh shell..as taht can pull teh plug off teh board enough to cause a failure

Thansk to Joe, found out that its most likely to be the battery holders. I tried both boards with a brand new 9volt and the board light flashes red and green. That means that the battery is low right? Should it register as low battery with a brand new 9volt?

Fourtunately the battery packs are only about 55p each. So it wont be costly :)

Any other ideas?
