Hi,

I bought a Halo B at Campaign and was wondering about what batteries you can use in it. It came with a battery pack that holds 6 AA batteries which adds up to 9v. However it is quite heavy when compared to a normal 9v battery. So I have heard that people have thought that the Halo is heavy (maybe due to the heavy battery pack. What I want to know is...is it more effieciant to have the bulky battery pack of 6 AA batteries than it is to have a standard 9v battery? i.e. which one will last longer given constant use.

Cheers,

Charlie.

HI- I have been running a halo B for 6 months now,i use the pack of AA batteries. The 9 volt battery will not have enough amperage required to run the halo at full speed. Its abit like turning over a large engine with a small battery.LOL.Stick with the AA battery pack.:D :D :D :D :D

Charlie,
Me old mucker, go with the 6 AA batteries as you'll get much better performance and reliability. Also if you're the type of player who crashes into their barricade, rather than gracefully acquiring a new postion - wrap a bit of tape round the 6 batteries to stop them getting knocked out. Any more questions, drop me a line,

Nick.

sand paper

also you may want to invest in some sand paper. if it has anything like the feed mine has its going to need sanding. i also bought mine at campaign and the neck is very thick.

apart from that i'm not going back to a revo.

stick with the AA batteries!!!

Thanks a lot guys. I will stick with the AA's.

Jnr, I must be one of the few people around that does not have to sand my Halo's neck as the feed tube on my cocker is so large that it fits in there perfectly:D
