After a lot of trash-talk from the gobby shelled one, about Guppy having "no game", he was forced to eat those words (probably with a fair few pies as well) when Guppy mugged him ultra-cool style. She ran past T-L, noticing that the poor boy was frantically trying to re-pot, and mugged his teammate first before returning to finish the Licker. Job done!

Yes I can confirm that Guppy did mug me ultra cool style.
Now what can I blame it on?
1. I was flinging so much paint that I had to pot up at some time.No
2. My team mates had all left the field and I though that the one left on my team had me covered. No, lame excuse.
3. It was the first time that I had played anything but woodland and concept fields. Might be an excuse.
4. I was having a nightmare day?. Pah every day is a nightmare to me.
5. The shock of seeing Guppy and Dangerous Brian in my neck of the woods [dammit set up again ] yup this seems like a viable option.

And after all I was on the field unlike a certain mother figure who was using the 'ow my back hurts excuse again' [Pointing no fingers but this was sinner]

Oh well at least it made a change from playing woodland. And a big sorry to all those who turned up for the walk-on. You should have come down the pub and then onto the indoor site, we had a great laugh

After serious thought....

I have decided that maybe I'm not cut out for p8ntballing.
I'm to tall and to slow for this sport.
No-one wants to play woodland anymore concept fields are all basicly the same and Sup-air well I've never played it.
I'll leave it until after Temple on the 10th of next month. If I can't get on with Sup-air I'll be selling up and finding a new pastime to occupy my spare time.[after 12 years of playiong woodland]
So if you know of anybody who wants a tricked out Dark Angel lcd let me know.

Stick with it mate - there's nothing that cannot be overcome by sustained thought and effort. Although I realise it's easy to get introspective after taking a hammering (and believe me, I've had a few), if I'd have given up after each of those times I'd just be glued to a couch watching telly and not paintballing, fencing, getting concussed at martial arts etc . . .

(Actually maybe I could do with a break from the last one).
