I like paintball markers to look like...well paintball markers, and not purposely styled to resemble military weapons ......in my head, paintball is a serious sport and not an opportunity to live out some Rambo fantasy.

But I do acknowledge that both formats (rec and tourney) are essentially cowboys and Indians, it's just that I think we as tourney ballers can take ourselves a little more seriously than when you daub the cammo paint on yer face and go into 'sniper' mode (wussy-ball) pretending you are in some Vietnamese undergrowth in the heart of suburban Chicago woodland.

I doubt I actually need to say this, but it's two different things aint it. The recballers would say the same about the tourney players. Like rugby league and rugby union, each will say they are better than the other.
Hell, I beat a guy to death once because he preffered diesel trains. Idiot. Steam all the way baby.......
