have you tried pulling it out? (it may be a little hard to do, but not that hard to pull out). if not, try inscrewing it. it uses the top cocking system like my old blowback, and that was how you removed the bolt with that.

Give it a go and let me know how you get on.

on the diagram it shows 2 0-rings but on my bolt there is none, to b honest there are grooves but i v much doubt that o-rings are supposed to go on there, would they not of been on there when i bought the gun ? also note that the bolt on the diagram is slightly different to the bolt thats sitting on my desk right now

cheers guys

yeah the diagram shows what i think is a standard aluminium bolt, your bolt however is made from a plastic called Delrin. Delrin is used to make some bolts for markers as it is light and there is no need to lubicate it. it is far better than a standard aluminium bolt.

Hope that helps :)

i guess the next step is to fully charge my battery, saying that though when i did have it fully charged it worked flawlessly, chopped a few balls but thats because the hopper cant keep up with the speed :)

Does that marker have a regulator? If it does, you may need to increase the pressure as not having enough pressure can make the gun not recock. If not, take it all apart, clean all the parts then lube the striker and its orings, but not the bolt.

lube the orings on the valve aswell, that sorted the recocking problem on my spyder.

hi there,

My friend had this problem with his he would get one shot then nothing after me spending some time checking o rings and such i found the reason to be that he had over tightened the two top grip screws and this was afecting the trigger by pinching something inside and once that was loosened it worked fine

Yeh the same thing happens with old eblade frames if you tighten the top grips screws up too much, the rubber clamps the sear solenoid so it cant move.

The problem is more than likely your input pressure, if your running it on co2 then the varying temerature can have an effect on the output pressure from your tank by upto about 300psi, try upping the input pressure on your reg and having a mess around with the striker spring tension.
Depending entirely on what input pressure you are using turning your striker sping tention up or down could potentially fix the problem so just have a fiddle around.

hi guys, im new to the paintball scene and im having a problem with my gun, i bought a spyder electra acs about 2 weeks ago and it worked fine, now it doesnt you shoot once and the bolt doesnt recock, at 1st i thought it was the air bottle so i tested it on my mates brand new electra and it works flawlessly, but not on mine, any ideas ?

advice would be appreciated,

cheers guys

Me and my son both have JT3.5 (Spyder clones) same bloke different hat.

First are all the moving parts lightly oiled?

Are you on air or CO2? CO2 with Fast play, cold days, or to much oil can slow the workings as it can freeze parts.

Damaged hammer seals.

Take the trigger frame off.
Remove the long bolt pin.
Remove the pin that holds the velocity adjuster (carefull, the main spring will have tension pushing on the end), and remove the end.
Remove the spring and guide if fitted.
Tap the hammer out and look at the seal.

Is it broke or damaged?

If the seal is damaged you usually get:-

1 If you cock the marker it will fire, but the bolt will only try to come back.
2 More than usual ball chopping
3 The hammer will not go all the way to the sear (shutter attached inside the trigger frame) because the air leaked passed the seal before it reaches the blow off exhaust (small hole in the bottom of the main body)

Have you had the bottle apart and put plumbers tape, or lots of Loctite on the thread when reassembling it?
If so take the feed pipe off your marker and try to blow down it.
Take the through grip off the front of your marker and look at the vertical adapter that it was screw'd into, some of these have mesh over the hole, is this clear?

Does this help?
