only reason im worrying is cause i posted something else at exactly the same time going to ireland it it got there yesterday. thought it a little strange that it hasnt got to southhampton yet.

does anyone know what i could do if it was lost?

what are you on??? 3 days??? first class is 1-2 days

last week i posted 4 parcels, 2 special delivery and 2 first class recorded, piss taking thing was, all of them arrived the next day (thursday to friday) in the morning and this was about half an hour before last post, so it took about 18 hours to go through the system

well we tried to help, then found out we couldnt, and we dont know sympathy, so we went straight onto laughing

there really isnt much you can do, if it was recorded or special, then u can track it, but otherwise its up to the hands of the postal workers

First Class is actually only "guaranteed" next day for something lie 85% of deliveries posted before 3pm at a main post office... shows how much faith they have in their own system, eh?

And it's not even guaranteed as such. Only Special Delivery is guaranteed (with exceptions).

I've had items sent "First Class" only arrive with me 3-4 weeks later, looking like it's been to Timbuktu and back. Give it a few more days, and don't sweat it... yet

well you actually quoted the downfall to what you just said.... i said 1-2 days, not one day

i reckon 10% of my special delivery items dont arrive next day, cant be arsed to claim cos its only a couple of quid though

dude, dont worry too much man, i post alot of stuff and sometimes it takes longer than 3 days

give it till mid week then start to worry

No idea what "quoting a downfall" actually means... but there was nothing in my original post that was wrong.

I said "next day" because they state "next day if posted before 3pm". Anything that falls outside "next day" is not in their 85% service level... geddit? duh!

yeah, u said its guaranteed 85% blah blah, as if i said its guaranteed to arrive in 1 days time, but i put 1-2
