I thought the complete opposite haha. Controller is alot nicer to play, songs are way more fun and actually more challenging, i can't finish it all on expert...still!!
And for my gh3 controller i got a custom skin done

I got this a couple of days ago, never played any of the previous versions.
Only complaint I have is the bloody wireless guitar and it being a sod to pair at first, and then the batteries lasting for hardly any time. Hopefully my rechargables at uni will be good enough to use in it or the game will cost me a fortune!!

My energiser rechargeables last a frikkin age with the gh controller, the only gripe for me is the buttons sometimes don't register as the neck can move around a bit
