Is "Assassins" the dumbest name ever for a team when you're trying to relate paintball to the general public?

I have to admit I wasn't too impressed with it either. Okay, no sense in calling a team "Fluffy Bunnies", but this name is as silly as "Slaughtering Slavelords".

Does anyone else think the new jerseys some of the NXL teams have look crappy and cheap??
AND the websites suck ass too, just a page off the psp site.

Banzai is just an ancient psyching up cry, so that's cool.
Sharpshooters I don't like. Bad company I like, it sounds badass, without actually saying much. After all, one could be considered bad company because one farts. Stupid Troopers....that name sort of makes fun of itself, doesn't it?
A name should have a bit of "pow" and "oomph" without going over the top. Assassins is over the top. At least, in my opinion.

Bad Company was a Nam squad though...I remember Avalanche changed their name from Easy Company cos the 'Company' bit was too military...
I agree it ain't a great name but I don't think it has a bad image particularly.
